    he Jacksonville Humane Society provides care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the killing of abandoned and orphaned shelter animals.

    Project Overview


    The Community Animal Hospital is 6,500 SF and constructed from CMU with stucco. The building has a flat roof, in addition to a standing seam metal roof. Sustainable elements such as natural lighting and renewable materials were incorporated into the facility. There are exam rooms; treatment rooms; surgery rooms with medical gas and surgery lighting; recovery areas (isolation wards; hospital wards; canine wards with kennels; feline wards with kennels; general offices; and a reception area and lobby.
