The new Hodge Elementary school was constructed for the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System during ESPLOST 2. The prototypical 90,000 square foot K-5 tilt-up construction was a replacement school for DeRenne Middle School. The new modern design provides space for 43 classrooms, gymnasium, media center, computer lab, music classrooms as well as playfields with playground equipment.
